ABOUT US

Jolly Roger Youth Theatre was established in early 2018 with the view to bring youth theatre to the local area.

We take young actors aged 8 to 18 and try to tailor our sessions to meet the needs of the diverse age group. Depending on the time of year, we will either have a different theme each week or in Winter and Summer we will be working towards our Christmas and Summer shows.

We meet once a week on a Friday evening, 5.30-7.30pm. Sessions are £4 per member.

Jolly Roger Youth Theatre was established by Millie Hardy-Sims, a veteran of youth theatre facilitation with 7 years of running successful youth theatres under her belt.

Fun fact: Our name comes from J.M. Barrie's "Peter Pan" as the name of Captain Hook's pirate ship.
